Website Health Check
A real quality-control review of your current site, not just a technical scan.
Why We're Called Web Detailer
You can wash your own car. You can run it through a quick rinse. You can take it to an automated car wash. Or you can have a professional detail it: every panel, every seam, every surface, until it looks and smells like it just rolled off the showroom floor. That's the standard we set out to build a company around, not just "your site works," but detailed, the way a professional would do it.
What a Health Check Covers
Before we build anything new, we start by reviewing what you already have. We check it against the same standards below, and one of two things happens:
It's already solid
If your current site holds up, we'll tell you so, with no upsell and no pressure to rebuild something that doesn't need it.
It needs work
If it doesn't hold up, you'll get an itemized pass/fail report showing exactly which areas fall short. It's not a step-by-step fix guide, but it gives you a clear picture of what a proper detail would need to address.
Already know it needs work?
You may not need the full review. Jump straight to website optimization, our hand-coded tune-up (or full rebuild) for existing sites.
What We Check It Against
For years, "W3C compliant" was the industry's shorthand for a properly built website. That's still true, and every site we build meets it. But valid markup is the floor, not the finish line. A page can pass markup validation with zero errors and still be missing the metadata that gets it found, running third-party scripts it doesn't need, with no real backup plan if something goes wrong, and no thought given to whether a visitor actually does anything once they land on it. A real health check covers all of it, not just the part a markup validator can see:
- W3C/XHTML compliant design and development, the baseline every site has to clear
- Cross-platform & cross-browser compliant, backward- and future-compatible
- High-availability, managed hosting
On-Page & SEO
Complete Title, Description & Keywords
On every single page, never left blank and never copy-pasted from the homepage.
Uniqueness Across the Site
No two pages competing with each other for the same title or description in search results.
H1-to-Title Alignment
The headline a visitor reads and the title a search engine reads actually agree with each other.
No Duplicate or Multiple H1s
One clear heading per page, not a page that can't decide what it's about.
Structured Data (JSON-LD) Consistency
Schema markup that's actually present, correct, and consistent site-wide, not bolted onto one page and forgotten everywhere else.
Internal Linking Health
Every page reachable, nothing orphaned with no links pointing to it.
Beyond the Page
Minimal Third-Party Dependencies
No plugin or embedded script exists unless there's a real business need for it, and certainly none that can break your site's core functionality if that vendor goes down.
Deliberate Call-to-Action Placement
Every page is built around what a visitor should actually do next, not just what it says.
A/B Testing Capability
Built so real changes can be tested against real results, not just guessed at.
Backup & Recovery Protocols
A real, tested plan if something ever goes wrong, not just a hope that it never will.
Every one of these is a standard we hold every project to, on every page, not a checklist we run once at launch and forget. That's exactly why our own sites don't quietly rot page by page the way most sites do a year or two after launch.

We'll tell you it's solid, or hand you an itemized pass/fail report on exactly where it isn't.
