Industry Project Management Experience
Prior to launching Web Detailer, Don was a PMI-certified project manager who served as United States Project Manager for New Technology at GlaxoSmithKline and as Project Lead and Database Architect on a U.S. Department of Defense project at General Dynamics. Running projects end to end on schedule under real institutional scrutiny isn’t new for us—it’s where we came from before we ever built a website. Phases of a Web Project
This is the practical, step-by-step breakdown of how we’ll work together once we’ve decided to move forward and the engagement fee has been received. From there, we put you on our schedule for the Project Kickoff meeting.
Project Kickoff
- We schedule a call or an in-person meeting, whichever works best for you.
- We'll ask what sites you like or dislike, and why, just to get a feel for your taste and expectations.
Plan & Estimate
- We prepare a detailed site plan and quote based on what we learned.
- Once we agree on price and timeline, a 50% deposit schedules the work.
Design Approval
- Send us any existing branding, such as your logo, color codes, or brochures, so the new design is cohesive with what you already have.
- We'll return one or more designs within two weeks.
Development
- We'll need 100% of your content to continue.
- Within two weeks, you'll get a private link to review the build in progress.
- Once approved and the remaining 50% is received, the site goes live.
Post Deployment
